Description:
- DIGITAL INPUTS such as Breaker status, Trip Status etc in the form of Potential free contacts are received by the RTU from the field.
- Various FEEDER ANALOG parameters are polled by the RTU from the installed meters in Feeders.
- This data is processed, time stamped and validated by the RTU before transferring to the Master Station/RCC for further process.
- This data is transferred to the Front End Processor ( FEP ) at the central control through RF communication or Coaxial cable or OFC.
- MULTIPORT FRONT END PROCESSOR (MFEP) at CENTRAL CONTROL ROOM acts as a buffer and receives the data and transfers to the control console.
- MFEP receives data from number of RTUs to facilitate Central Monitoring and Controlling.
- Control Console after processing this data, posts to the SERVER.
- SERVER receives this processed data, stores in to the database and accessed by different work stations for monitoring and controlling.
- Required number of work stations are to be connected to the SERVER through LAN switch.
- Work Stations with Mimic of Different layouts, online information of various measurements and necessary software will facilitate to execute different commands to be carried out in the field under different RTUs.
- These commands are transferred to the required RTU through the MFEP.
- Execution of these commands is carried out through the DIGITAL OUTPUT card in the RTU.
- Outputs are controlled through Select and Execute command process.
- Acknowledgement of the executed commands are passed to the central control console.
Features
Software
- Provision for preparing the mimic’s of different stations and assigning associated signals (DI’s, DO’s & Measurands) to each device.
- Providing security for editing the mimic from various caders through password facility.
- Providing security from operating the devices when they were under blocked condition.
- Providing security from operating the devices that were under power blocked condition.
- Synchronizing the time of all the RTUs with in the network with the time captured from GPS.
- Getting & Setting the RTU time of the selected station or all the stations at a time.
- Provision for checking the healthiness of network.
- Intimating the user when ever there is a link failure with in the network.
- Showing online healthiness of the station by indicating its state.
- Power Blocking facility with in the selected section.
- The details of the person responsible for power blocking, the duration of power blocking, section under power blocking are provided as an online feature.
- Showing online Feeder CB tripping indication.
- Display of online analog values.
- Display of the calculated MVA and MD values.
