An Integrated Power Monitoring System, helps in identifying the power system failure while improving the reliability of the railway signal monitoring system. The whole process takes place before the signalling system is affected. It provides real-time analysis and monitoring of all the stations in the section along with their status.

How does it work?

The data logger in the station monitors the power supply system and sends the recorded data to the central place through the logger network. This power supply data is received by the software present at the central location, and it is used to generate useful online textual alarms for taking action by maintenance staff. The same data is shown online in GUI, and offline reports are generated by the system that helps the maintenance engineer identify the required inputs for improving MTBF of the power supply system
